Q1 – ‘Redtower Research is now part of Redtower Asset Management – where we are applying our investment research directly for our clients - Research driven investment.’

Gerry Celaya is a Director of Redtower Asset Management and is the Chief Strategist/Portfolio Manager. Gerry was formerly the Senior Technical Analyst and Currency Strategist at American Express Bank, covering major and exotic FX markets, bond markets and equity indices for the banks institutional and corporate customers. In this role he also produced strategies that utilised high yield portfolios and derivatives to manage risk for clients. Prior to that Gerry worked at Bank of America as Head of Technical Analysis, London which included trading most foreign exchange rates and products and included running a portfolio of high yield currencies. Gerry also managed the desk that provided technical research for the bank and its customers. Gerry was Director of Technical Analysis, Europe at Standard and Poor's MMS International, before he joined Bank of America. In all, he has over seventeen years of experience covering the financial markets using technical analysis for institutional dealers and professional clients. Gerry has been a Director of the Society of Technical Analysts (STA) on two separate occasions, and is also a member of the Society of Business Economists. He earned his MA in Economics (applied econometrics) in 1988. Gerry has been widely quoted in the media and interviewed on Bloomberg and CNBC. He has spoken at TSAA, STA, Computrac and FoW seminars, and has trained clients in technical analysis at conferences all over the world.


Q2) Why would I be interested in your consultancy service?

We can provide clear and concise coverage, tailor-made to your specifications. Instead of the usual inflexible mass market reports, we aim to be a "virtual market analyst" to those firms which require a cost-effective, branded research product. This can be supplemental to existing research, which in most cases tends to be fundamental or long-term orientated. We provide solutions to your content problems and add value to your customer relationships.

Q3) What markets do you cover?
Redtower covers the developed and emerging markets, cash indices, equities, futures and all asset classes. We are fully FICC compatible and provide fundamental, technical and quantitative analysis in our research. The time frames we cover are intraday to 5-6 years out – depending on client requirements.

Q4) Redtower specializes in the provision of ‘White Label’ research, where your logo and branding is used with our research. We can provide this over email, bespoke websites etc., and would be happy to discuss your requirements with you. Research is a recognized client acquisition and retention tool, and by using Redtower either in conjunction with your current team, or as a stand alone research provider our clients find Redtower to be a very cost effective method of adding value to their customer relationships.

Q5) Why did you call the company ‘Redtower’?
It made sense to us!
Red - a colour usually used to give warning or to catch your attention. Think "red alert", "red flag to a bull", "red traffic light" etc.
Tower - a bastion of defence, an observation post from which to look afar and a place of security when you're under attack. Think "tower of strength"!
